About This Dog for Adoption

Chloe's ideal home

Chloe is a sweet and sensitive girl, she can be worried by the world and is looking for a family who will be patient with her and help her confidence grow. She likes meeting new people but can be worried initially, once she’s your friend she’s friendly and affectionate. Chloe has been assessed to live with children aged 14+ who are calm and confident around dogs. Chloe would like to be the only dog in the home but could live with a dog savvy cat.

Could you be Chloe's perfect match?

Chloe is a super wonderful girl who everyone has fallen in love with, she may be sensitive but once she’s gained her confidence she is great fun and loves a fuss. Chloe’s ideal home will have quiet walks near the home so she can enjoy a peaceful walk away from the hustle and bustle.

Ember's ideal home Ember is a sweet social lady with a lot to offer. We don’t have a lot of history for her having been picked up as a stray. We think she would be suitable to live with children 8+ and it would be beneficial if they were comfortable being around larger breeds. Ember is social with other dogs and would benefit from finding some lead walking friends once

Golden Retriever Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Golden Retriever.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Golden Retriever Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
