About This Dog for Adoption

Steve's ideal home

If you are looking for an inquisitive sensitive soul who is ready to take his first steps into the big wide world, Steve could be your perfect match! 2-year-old Steve has had a sheltered life up until this point but has taken some big leaps forward with his confidence and is slowly learning how much more this world has to offer.
Steve is looking for owners who are happy to work alongside our training team in the home, whilst Steve practices his life skills and gets ready to be adopted. This would mean that we are looking for a home within 1 hour of the centre.
He is looking for a calm adult-only home with a playful dog to be his best friend and show him the ropes! Steve would love to live with experienced owners who are committed to building his confidence and taking things at his pace with the ongoing support from his trainer friends.
He has recently started going for walks and is enjoying exploring new areas. He would also love to show off his new skill: getting into the van all by himself.

Could you be Steve's perfect match?

Steve is an independent soul who prefers to settle nearby rather than on your lap. He will follow you around and is always on the scrounge for snacks!
Steve loves goofing around with his doggy friends, this is when he is his happiest, and so a secure garden for lots of playtime would be his number 1 request. Steve enjoys his enrichment games and snuffling out goodies!
Steve has not lived in a home before and will need all the basics initially.
If you can provide this gentle soul with the love and understanding he needs to thrive, Steve will repay you with a lifetime of companionship and trust.
