About Us

I breed different variations of the golden retriever and Flat coat Retriever as there are 3 main groups, the working line which is the darker golden retriever, the show line which is the whitest coloured golden and what I call the traditional coloured golden retriever. By mating a mix of working with show line or traditional line helps to dilute the gene pool for a less genetically related puppy, the ideal puppy obviously should be less than 5 % coi, which would ensure that any genetic mutations should be ‘outbred ‘ for the line.

For temperaments the working line need far more exercise , can be a bit more challenging and not the right fit for everyone, the show line the whiter breed are in my experience more placid, easy going they can be lazy and are prone to get a bit overweight if not excercised enough
