Introducing Brilliant Ben, the 1 year old Akita Cross who came to us due to being too strong for his previous owner. Ben would thrive in a home with breed experienced owners in a relatively quiet environment. Due to his strength and excitability Ben is looking for a home with older secondary school age children. He needs to be the only dog in the home however he could have walking buddies that share his energy. Ben loves his humans so much so that initially he will need owners who are home most of the time. Ben is a clever chap and is very eager to learn, this is especially important as he is nervous around cars and traffic and would need further training to help with this with advice from our training team. Ben is a lovely boy that adores his people but also likes his own space.
