About This Dog

Willow's ideal home

Willow is a lovely eleven-year-old senior lady looking for a loving home. She has a fabulous temperament and history of being a therapy dog – visiting care homes. Now she’s looking for a calm home environment with home comforts and lots of opportunities for quiet snooze time. As an elderly lady she does have some arthritis which is managed by medication. She is looking for a home without steps in the home or garden. Willow could share her home with children as young as eight. She could potentially share her home with a calm dog. She has good history living with cats and small furries. She has no history around livestock. Willow is housetrained. She travels well in the car. She is friendly with visitors to the home. She is happy to be left alone at home for a few hours at a time.

Could you be Willow's perfect match?

Willow is a gentle girl who has a bounce in her step once she has settled into a home environment. She adores a snuggle on the sofa with her foster carers. She greets them with a happy face and a waggy tail. She likes to be with her foster carers whether they are cooking dinner, watching a movie, or doing the gardening. Willow enjoys a gentle game of ball – but not too much! She enjoys walks in the park, and she walks nicely on her lead. She likes to socialise with other dogs. She loves treats and she knows her basic training. She enjoys having her hair brushed. Her foster carers say, “She has a pretty lady face that melts your heart – and she will be a great addition to any family.”
