About This Dog

Rory's ideal home

Rory is a charming 8 year old Poodle X looking for a new home with his BFF Ewan as they gain a lot of confidence from each other. They could join a home with children of Older Primary School age and would like to be the only pets in their new home. They have lived quite a sheltered life so far and are still getting used to exploring the wider world so would like a secure garden so they have a safe space to play and toilet while continuing to build confidence outside of the home. They will need support learning the basics including house training. Rory and Ewan will need someone at home with them the majority of the time and any leaving hours will need to be built up at a pace they are comfortable with once settled.

Could you be Rory's perfect match?

Rory and Ewan came into our care from a welfare hoarding situation and as a result have not had the normal life experiences you would expect. They are friendly boys who love a fuss and a cuddle and are still building confidence with things so would like a patient and understanding family to help them with this. They can be underconfident around other dogs and can be vocal so will need to be kept on lead when outside of the home and they would benefit from some further training and socialisation once settled in the home.
