About This Dog

Kimi's ideal home

Kimi is looking for a special home with a patient and understanding family, who are ready to help her to navigate her new life at her own pace. She could live with another calm dog and potentially a cat with proper introductions, and any children over the age of 10 who understand that Kimi needs gentle TLC. She will need somebody at home for much of the time to help her with some house training and settling in. She will need her new family to be willing to meet her a few times here at the centre and to allow us to introduce her into your home slowly.

Could you be Kimi's perfect match?

Kimi has come from a household where she had been living in extremely poor conditions with over 200 other dogs. Until her arrival here at the centre she had seen nothing of the outside world or other people so is understandably a little worried when strangers approach. She is a sweet and gentle natured girl who, given the time and space to bond with you, loves to cuddle. She has come on in leaps and bounds since her arrival and has already learnt so much. She now walks beautifully on her lead and enjoys getting out for walks, though this will need to be built up gradually in new areas so as not to overwhelm her. We feel that Kimi may well benefit from living with another calm and friendly dog who can show her the way whilst she discovers new things in life. Kimi has had a lot to deal with in recent months and would love to head off to a quiet home where her new life can slowly start to take shape, and where she can start to enjoy the finer things in life that she so deserves.
