About This Dog

Lottie's ideal home

Meet Lottie, a sweet 14-year-old Golden Doodle looking for a loving home. Lottie has lived a sheltered life, primarily with other dogs, and is still learning to socialise outside her familiar environment. She has done well with other dogs in kennels, though she thrives in the company of calm and gentle companions. Lottie has the potential to live with another quiet dog or even a cat, given proper introductions. Lottie is friendly and enjoys attention once she gets to know you, though she can be a little shy due to her past. A quieter home with children aged 8 and older would be ideal. Her favourite pastimes include lounging on a comfortable sofa and receiving affection from her favourite people.

Could you be Lottie's perfect match?

Rescued from a welfare hoarding situation, Lottie needs a patient home willing to introduce her to the world at her own pace. She'll require ongoing support for house training and would appreciate a home where she can nap on the sofa, perhaps with the aid of a ramp due to her age. Lottie will need time to adjust and would benefit from the presence of another dog to help her feel secure. If homed without a canine companion, she'll need someone around most of the time. A garden would be beneficial as she gets used to walks and continues her house training journey. With patience and support, Lottie promises to be a loving companion.
